One of the most important tools we have to facilitate social change is the internet. There is nothing else like it in terms of spreading ideas and informing others. Protests, petitions, and funds can receive support from people nowhere near where they were started.

If you have influence on a platform such as Twitter and truly care about what is happening, you have the ability to do something, to tell others how they can show support. Inform people. Let them know what they can do to help.

Please, if you truly care, do not be content with your own apathy or ignorance. These are not acceptable excuses.
