Are members of the Church waiting for Pres. Nelson to email them, “We urge members of the Church to call upon public officials and policy makers to promptly work with community stakeholders and local police forces to find a solution on the issue of police brutality.”

Choose not be commanded or compelled in all things. That is slothful and not wise. Choose to be anxiously engaged in this good cause, and do it of your own free will.

You have a current opportunity to mourn with those that are mourning. To comfort those that clearly stand in need of comfort. I’m not sure what your reasoning is for this lack of action and help, but hold a mirror up to this issue and decide today not to be an idle servant.
