So... I had no idea what was going on until this morning. Hadn& #39;t heard about the murder, or the protests, or any of this until I heard a friend say she was afraid from literal rioters in their town.

So, I guess this will be a few thoughts I have, but bare in mind I have a ---
limited view of the subject.

Here& #39;s what I know, a man was murdered by an officer, and it& #39;s was due to the color of his skin. And that is unacceptable. #Blacklivesmatter https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> my friends. And yeah, sure, all lives matter. But look, some people out there face a lot more injustice. ---
and those people need our freaking support. STAND WITH THEM. Stand up for them! Do every thing you can to help promote equality in not only or justice systems, but even in everyday life.

I& #39;ve not encountered a lot of racism in my life, being Indian, but the times I have ---
were awful. Myself and other friends of mine from Middle Eastern regions were threatened a lot after 9/11, but thankfully a lot of that has died down. I cannot imagine this struggle being black, and always having to take extra precautions, especially around police who are ---
supposed to be protecting you and defending you.

I know not all officers are like this, there& #39;s some great guys on the forces. But so often when things like this happen, the justice system takes too long to even start investigating. We need officers to enforce the law, but ---
officers also need to be held accountable to it.

Law avoiding citizens should -NEVER- have to feel afraid of the police, but that& #39;s where we& #39;re at.

So, yes, I do think this needs to be protested, and I& #39;m glad the officer was finally arrested, but now we& #39;ve got other problems. -
Now our CITIZENS are afraid, and that because a few folks have turned peaceful protests into full on riots. People are afraid of others outside their homes. Buildings are businesses are burning, and at least from my perspective there& #39;s no rhyme or reason for it. ---
I& #39;ve seen people on Twitter compare it to the Boston Tea Party, but hey, remember how the BTP mostly affected the government that was oppressing the people? Folks didn& #39;t start attacking and destroying other oppressed people& #39;s property.

And by the way, it looks like the ---
people doing all this looting and pillaging aren& #39;t even the ones most affected by police brutality. It& #39;s just some random dudes, trying to take advantage of the situation and act like it& #39;s the freaking purge.

This is not okay. This is not something to support. ---
Innocent people are getting hurt, and when it gets like this, it damages the reputation of something serious that needs to be addressed.

I do not support that at all, and I think a lot of it is done by people who care nothing for justice, but just want to see the world burn. ---
So, that& #39;s where I& #39;m at. Comments welcome, but I& #39;m gonna try and not argue or draw things out. I& #39;m tired, just from a heavy heart at seeing all the hurting in our country right now.

I still believe we can fix a lot in this country, I still believe we can get closer to equality.-
My heart is still full of hope, and I hope each of us goes out of this looking for how we can affect change in positive ways.

Give a little more love and grace to those around you today my friends. I know there& #39;s others out there just feeling tired like me. ---
Let& #39;s choose to fuel them and encourage them, being a light wherever we go.
