In case you didn’t know, the #Alamo was about white people fighting for their right to have slaves. It isn’t something to be proud of in Texas culture.

I’m not saying the whole Texas revolution was about slavery you Chads and Karens. I’m saying the Alamo, again, Alamo, was heavily about slavery. Please do some research about the events around 1836.
In conclusion, this thread is full of angry people who only learned about the Alamo in 7th grade Texas history and never bothered to go check if what they learned was true or if there was more to it. Their patriotism blinds them to our dark history.
