There are concerns from local leaders that it remains unclear who organized last night’s events in west Charlotte, and the intent behind the organization, who showed up, and what happened.

I am hearing the same concerns about the events planned for today.

Corine Mack, who leads the NAACP chapter in CLT, tells me she is unaware of any locally led / or organized events planned for today.

That doesn’t mean there won’t be events today. It means we should examine who is at these events, where in town they are being held, and watch how the events unfold closely.

The Facebook link to one of the events I RT info about yesterday has already been deleted.

If it was a legitimately organized event, that is unlikely to have happened.
