A thread on bubbles: I sat down with a friend today and compared responses to Trump's morning tweets. What we found were that very few responses were shared between our feeds. The majority of responses were VERY different. I am apparently in a "Trump is okay" bubble, /1
and my friend is firmly inside a "Trump is insane" bubble. I mean, I had no idea that the calls to violence were so over the top. Really shocking how insane people are on this platform. And to think it is hidden from people who do not generally share such views. /2
We have to realize that the bubbles are pervasive in our lives. Whether we want to or not, they're not going away. This is why info can sometimes to be hard to find: everything is "personalized" -- which is newspeak for hidden. And it's all done for ad sales. /3
As @realmaxkeiser pointed out in his latest episode, this makes us users no better than the human batteries in the Matrix. The platforms we all use essentially destroy the human psyche for ad sales. What a joke. /4
Most people don't get the bubble thing, and I include myself in this to an extent. We don't internalize it. So everyone ends up thinking their bubble represents a majority -- because it's all they see. When the real world doesn't match, they retreat to their bubble for "feels" /5
So the cycle just gets worse and worse over time.

It should be clear by now that there is NO salvation in these centralized, tracked and controlled systems. The only hope we have for a revival of the human spirit lies in the unregulated, the unfettered, the unrestricted. /6
In our personal lives, we can find this outlet for freedom with good friends, with family (hopefully). But at the societal level, I believe we are now left only with #Bitcoin . It is painful to watch clueless bubbled humans clamoring for a crumb, but in effect their actions /7
only destroy their own lives. They are actively misdirected, as by a magician. THIS is what social media has done to us. And it is very sad.

Equal opportunity is a bedrock of a free society, of equal rights. Everyone deserves that chance to better themselves. /8
But in this fucked up fiat money system, there is no such chance for many. The deck is stacked from the get go. And with real understanding of things, the magician is there, using is bubble to guide people this way or that -- but always AWAY from the man behind the curtain. /9
In a hard money system, people at least have the chance to work hard and make something in this life for themselves. And they have to have that chance. #Bitcoin really is the answer. "Fix the money, fix the world" is NOT hyperbole. We'll get there in time. I am sure of it./10/end
