Exos Heroes global is.. meh

I'm not even gonna touch the translation side, it's just so bad that my only recommendation is to find a new translation team.
The game:
It's a turn-based gacha RPG. Every character has 2 skills, each using different amounts of MP. If a skill is Burst type, it will be more effective the more MP is expended. Aside from that, each char has a passive that unlocks at 4*. Every char also gains MP differently.
Each char has a guardian stone (think of it as their element) and they also have weakness to one type. When a char is struck with their respective weakness, they enter Break status, disabling them and boosting damage done to them.
Some enemies have more than 1 guardian stones, all must be struck independently for them to enter Break status (e.g. 2 Nature stones must be attacked twice before they enter Break).
As you play the game, you gain access to features such as airships and challenge dungeons. Airships are your 'base' where you can change your team composition and weapons and recruit more chars, as well as other features like crafting.
My criticism:
Why do we have to walk to each destination? We have an airship but when you move to next part of the story, you have to walk there? The airship can only transfer you between very limited places. You can auto-move, but you can't skip the walk to story spot.
There are no multiple team slots. You have to alter your team manually before a match (though I will give them point that challenges has separate team slots that don't affect your main team).
This is especially annoying if the story requires a character you are given via Side Story, which usually happens once or twice in a chapter.

Also the Side Story breaks the flow of the game completely, appearing not right after a chapter, but while you are walking.
I just feel like they should've just put the Side Story into the main story if they're then forcing you to use them.

Each story also has missions that affects your completion reward. These are incredibly annoying and just shows that this game doesn't want you to have fun.
Some missions require you to Break enemies n amount of times, but if the enemy dies from single hit attacks, even if they're hit with their weak elements, they don't count.

However, some missions need you NOT to Break enemies at all.

Why? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?
Imagine if you have the perfect team and you are ready to steamroll the missions, and then it turns out you have to change your team entirely so you don't accidentally Break an enemy, and THEN change it back to your usual team because a major boss is next. It's annoying.
If this is an optional achievement, it would be fine. For example, finish n number of mission without Breaking enemies. Instead, this is tied to your chapter completion. Do away with the no Breaks, do away with Side Story units, it would make the main story flow better.
I really want to talk about the story, but.. all of the characters are very unlikable, I can't really focus on the story (I'm one of those people who don't skip story even if it makes me want to commit not-alive).
All the enemies are full of themselves, all thinking "hey, why can't my underlings kill this one dude, let me do it my power level is higher than you" and then gets ass-blasted because my chars are all their weak elements, which they don't ever acknowledge and just leave.
It feels like the game is a parody about OPM, except in OPM it is at least funny/ has comedic value.

Also they made a cardinal sin of making an enemy beatable, but you lose in the story. There are chapters where the boss one-shot you for this purpose, why not do it like that?
I could write a hundred of this thread, but I haven't the spirit to do that. So I'll finish this here.

This game is a 5/10.
Visual: It's ok. For a game called Visualism Play, not visually impressive
Gameplay: It's ok, the battle system works fine
Story: Just skip
*I also haven't talked about Fatecore and map events and explorations and minigames, but I just can't be bothered by it. This is also not about being salty about chars, considering of the 8 draws (including initial free select) I did, I have 6 5*.
