Why are we fighting violence with violence? Can we have peaceful protests without looting, stealing, and torching?

People, we need to end systemic racism and we need to end violence against black people. Please stop attacking me for my reasonable question. I cannot spend any more time countering the ridiculous implications that are coming up about my character in my notifications tab. I

I understand why people are rioting & why the violence. I just wish there was a better way. I wish our country had not gotten to this point. I wish we could all be better in this moment. And I wish I could ask a question on Twitter without feeling like my character is questioned

We screwed up by not addressing this problem long ago. The history of systemic racism in this country is wrong. We need to do better, starting today. And attacking me because I asked a question is not the best starting point in my opinion. Please be respectful, as I am being.
