Okay parents (or anyone who has insight) - it is really important to me to make sure that I raise Riley to understand racism/white privilege & her role. Since she was born my first step was to be VERY intentional abt having diversity in the books we read bc it reflects our world.
She’s almost 3. What kinds of conversations can be had at this age, if any? Or is what I’m doing enough right now? Do you have any resources/books about talking to our kids about race and this kind of stuff? I want to be prepared to have these convos & initiate them.
