At the current protests there may be funded agent provocateurs inciting chaos to warp the narrative and/or different groups attempting to capitalize on a bad situation.

Differences (simplified):
-Protest: is public objection/disapproval of policy/action etc & there is absolute right to protest (1st Amendment)
-Riot: form of civil disorder by a group lashing out in a violent public disturbance against authority etc. It is illegal.

Agent provocateurs/inciting agents:
Definition: One who purposefully lures or persuades someone into breaking the law when that person may not have done so alone (and then if they are cops they arrests them)

- They can have their own nefarious reasons.

For these protests there may be groups hijacking the current protests for their own needs e.g:
-Undercover cops to stir up chaos + arrest
-Anti-fa & anarchists
-Funded agent provocateurs e.g Russia/alt right funded/influenced useful idiots
- Any groups with a separate agenda

They wear disguises to blend in. Police have done it many times in the US for anti-war protests,at the RNC and DNC. They can look like anyone: "The officers hoist protest signs. They hold flowers with mourners..."

They have previously been used to arrest people:

They may be paid/used to incite destruction or illegal activity for arrests or ulterior motives. Recently there was this man purported to be a cop- there is a name floating around but it hasn't been verified. In the clip he is destroying windows non-nonchalantly by himself.

They could be any group with a separate agenda e.g anti-fa or anarchists or potentially people with ulterior motives masquerading as either to provoke people to act illegally (see next).

It's important to understand at the moment they could be any group w/ a different agenda. I won't/can't presuppose who they are or what their agenda is. However just remember one of the main purposes of agent provocateurs is to cause chaos, division & instability.

Disclosure: I'm white & this is a hard one & may be sensitive issue but I have seen some footage that is predominately white people destroying property. I don't know who they are (could be any of the above) but they are hijacking the protests for their own purposes/agenda

Main take away: Video record all those who you don't believe represent your message if they appear to be agent provocateurs. Remember Putin, Trump & MAGAs want to cause division whether its race, politics etc especially leading up to the election. Stay safe. I support you.

Update: Trump/Putin & Barrs main goal is to create an oligarchy/totalitarian as well as divide &destroy USA from the inside out. With Barr &Trump speaking out against "left extremists" it's more likely right wing extremists masquerading as leftists.This is their game plan
