Because this is a bit out of control in certain parts of Twitter, here is a thread about the context of the Jim Jones sample. It's basically a compilation of my own rough research, because context is extremely important and I like to judge things for myself.

My take: I think the context of something within media is extremely important to understand. This has ties to more than one culture, and I think some of the outrage is there simply because it's an easy thing to bandwagon off of. (And, really, since when has B15 hate been rare?)
I made this thread in the hopes that people would research and decide for themselves instead of just seeing other people's angry takes and simply accepting their word as the end-all-be-all. What you decide after that is fine, as long as it's thought out, critical, and yours.
