1. Jonathan Goodluck sha! There was a NASS that has a constitutional power to make laws. GEJ, ignored them & then set up a National Conference of unelected delegates that could not bind the NASS to debate that notion "restructuring". He then tossed aside the report-Shenanigans!!/
2. Then came in PMB and the raucous noise of the noisy few after a resounding defeat at the polls screamed- we want restructuring in defiance of logic-the logic that is unassailable that only the NASS could even look at the Nat.Conference aberration to rescue any plausible idea/
3. therein contained if any. Many perpetual "follow, follow" who had neither read the summary of that conference deliberations & decisions not to talk of the full report and with varying definitions of restructuring clamoured for what thy knew not in inglorious ignorance-Alas!
4. Alas!, Many have forgotten that the 8th Assembly put up some constitutional amendments that touched on some notion of restructuring, but in the way of the man who turned out not to know the way to anywhere, that window dressing went no where. Then comes PMB in 2019 quietly/
5. doing a revolutionary restructuring within the Constitution-Financial autonomy to the separate arms of Government in the manner the CFRN envisages both at federal and state level, LGAs also to have financial autonomy as well as Houses of Assembly and Judiciary & guess what?/
6. The noisy 'restructurers' are suddenly not sure they want such restructuring-the Governors are up in arms-how dare PMB want LGAs to have their own money independent of them-the overlords. My people are quiet. @EiENigeria and @SERAPNigeria who have sworn allegiance to hate PMB/
7. are all quiet. What could be wrong in wanting development to get down to the grassroots and why would an independent judiciary not control its own funds? So I surmise that the real desire in the noise of restructuring is all about money for the guys. If states had their own/
8. income unsupervised by anyone what would happen? 36 overlords or 36 dictators? Would Delta State which made uncountable or colossal income all these years & did not much with them, suddenly be able to manage resources better as independent overlords? What was GEJ thinking?/
I leave this here as thoughts for today knowing that the usual dem dems (not really #Akuris this time, will soon be here on my TL with the usual ineffectual (chosen very aptly) wailing. I remain unperturbed. One love all & peace
