I live in a state that doesn’t have many protests, and I learned a lot about people around me during this time of outrage in our country. #protests #BlackLivesMatter

Now I come from a typically red state but still in today’s society I am befuddled by the amount of people who aren’t keeping up to date with what is happening in our country right now, or simply choose to ignore the cultural revolution that is happening. #protests #GeorgeFloyd

I am shocked everyday when I bring up a new startling moment from the protests to my friends and family, and they tell me they haven’t heard about it. This moment in our country is reshaping our nations identity and I’m their news source? That’s scary! #protests #BlackLiveMatter

I have tried my best to follow every protest and riot and be knowledgeable of the events occurring, but I’m no journalist. I’m simply an engineer that struggles to go to sleep each night because I constantly see new injustices around the nation. #protests #GeorgeFloyd

I was more startled today to learn that some of my friends wouldn’t even know about 90% of the events happening right now unless I hadn’t shared them. That scares me, because that means more people than just them are also blissfully ignorant of these appalling events. #protests

I actually apologized to all of my friends for constantly sending them the sad and troubling events unfolding, but when I heard I’m the only reason they know about any of this I felt it was my duty to continue providing them updates on future events. #protests #GeorgeFloyd

The whole nation needs to be aware that times are changing, and I will do my best in the small neck of the woods I live in to keep the people close to me informed so they don’t miss the history unfolding in front of them. #protests #BlackLivesMatter

As for the protesters around the US right now, I say continue to speak out against the injustices plaguing our nation right now. Continue so in the most peaceful way affordable to you. Riots have occurred, but that is just a small portion of the collective outrage. #protests

Join with your fellow Americans of all genders and races and try to bring about a positive change in this time of turmoil. Listen to the stories being told not just with your ears but with all of your senses. #protests #PositiveChange

I’m not of color so I truly don’t know what it’s like to experience these certain discriminations, but I just want to say that I’m willing to listen and learn how to do my part to right the wrongs and bring about positive change for all. #protests #BlackLivesMatter
