My Response to the J*m J*nes situation:

I admit that i only listened to daechwita off of the mixtape and I didn’t understand the reason why he would include that in his song. And that’s my fault. When i first heard that he used it, all I could think is “why?” Why would he use

it knowing that man has done terrible terrible things. Also many of u said well “he is connected to sk cults” and I don’t think tha changes that he is known for the Jonestown Massacre. His life ended in Guyana so just please understand that hearing this man’s name is triggering

for a lot of Guyanese people. Also people have told me that it happened so long ago which leads me to believe that they think it shouldn’t matter. There are some things in history you can never forget and Guyana will never forget. Thank you to everyone who sent me that thread.

However, please understand that I would still like to hear Yo*ngi’s explanation himself because it will ease me more knowing he said it himself. I do think my reaction to it all is valid bc i was offended and I am still not completely okay with it bc again it is an

extremely sensitive topic for me. I apologize if my post cause him any hate because I would never want that to happen. Thank you again to for that thread bc it did put me at some type of ease. I just hope you all understand that no matter the message/ intention hearing his voice

is triggering. Please understand why I was so upset and acted the way I did. I had no intention to throw anyone under the bus i was just hurt and wanted to make sense of the situation. Further on, I won’t be talking about this anymore as there are more important things happening
