Big protests in Tokyo after recent police brutality against a Kurdish person. https://twitter.com/NoHateTV/status/1266621098193383425
Chanting "暴力やめろ", the crowd calls for an end to police violence. https://twitter.com/shinoda_man/status/1266639963770118144?s=19
Marchers call for violent and discriminatory members of the police force to be punished via dishonorable discharges. https://twitter.com/ark_yz/status/1266619942046060544?s=19
Taiga Ishikawa, a national politician of the CDP, is also at the protests.

He says something along the lines of: "If you do not crack down on the crimes of your own police officers, the public's trust in the police force will collapse." https://twitter.com/a_beayana/status/1266682316149018624?s=19
Ishikawa is one of the prominent openly LGBT politicians in Japan who are consistently pushing for better treatment of LGBTQ+ people and other minorities. After 2 terms as a local politician he acquired a seat in the national Diet last year: https://twitter.com/writerofscratch/status/1153069153948971016?s=19
This sign reads "I protest against Shibuya's police officers' unlawful violence and discrimination towards a Kurdish man*."

*Japanese is often ambiguous in terms of whether a noun is plural or not. The sign could also refer to "Kurdish men" in general. https://twitter.com/_natsukik/status/1266639488429613057?s=19
This very clear sign is in English and written in a nice, legible font. https://twitter.com/_natsukik/status/1266725414510067712?s=19
In yellow: "Why did you injure him and pin him down? Is it because he is a foreigner?"

In white: "I protest against the hate crimes of the police." https://twitter.com/_natsukik/status/1266710647561052160?s=19
Unfortunately, the twitter account of Counter-Racist Action Collective (C.R.A.C.) appears to have been suspended once again. I hope @TwitterJP will right this wrong and quickly give @NoHateTV their account back.
The Mainichi Shimbun now also has a video about the protests. It starts with some footage from the unjustified arrest that sparked the protest, and also includes a brief interview with the Kurdish man himself. https://twitter.com/mainichi/status/1266748067010600961?s=19
While the protest was sparked by the arrest of this unnamed Kurdish man by Shibuya's police, this English article from @ArabNewsjp notes that protesters also displayed solidarity in denouncing the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police.
