Can podcasters who are financially stable/on furlough please not do free or reduced pay work because you're bored? This is such a young industry and if you start charging £150PD in lockdown, people are going to assume it's okay to pay that to freelancers out of lockdown
There are things you can create for free/low pay that are helpful- why not organise events for freelancers out of work and give them the ticket sales/donations, mentor new podcasters, create playlists of podcasters who deserve a bigger platform etc
A few people have contacted me saying they didn't realise this was a low rate. Maybe not for a production assistant but for a producer with a few years experience, £250 is standard, £200 is for charities and individuals, £350-500 is commercial clients with more money than sense.
