Dear #Pdx #media, use the context of the moment you're reporting on. Broken glass is not "really bad" compared to the injustice that people are crying out about tonight.
Talk about why Oregonians are outside of their homes during a #pandemic to declare that #BlackLivesMatters.
A reporter just spoke of "immeasurable crime."

Stop it! You do not use that same energy to report on state violence against citizens/residents.
Now from a report: "It sounds like a war zone with glass breaking and loud bangs".

No! That is not what a war sounds like. This is what manifest injustice sounds like.

Avoid hyperbole. Report the news.
