If you’re arrested in San Antonio, I got y’all pro bono too. Give me a call: 210-858-7997 https://twitter.com/ericwsundin/status/1266550967253831680
That number rings on my cellphone day and night. Only reason I would not answer is if my phone is dead or I’m locked up too. You can also text it for some quick help.
Some quick tips I think are important:
1. ~If~ you think you are being arrested, ask if you are being arrested or detained. If you arrested, do as they say. If you are being detained, ask if you are free to leave. When you are free to leave, do so.
2. If you are arrested, do not talk to the police. Ask only for a lawyer and say that you are invoking your 5th amendment rights.
3. When you ask for a lawyer, do so clearly and unequivocally. Say exactly this, "I will not speak to you without a lawyer present. I am invoking my 6th Amendment Right to an attorney."

(The case law says that it must be super clear what you are asking for, so ask like that)
