When you behold what has happened to Collins Khosa, and the students of FMF, and Marikana... then you look at how our politicians live and speak... you see what systemic power is.

South Africa inherited a system of domination and just changed hands at management level.

We know, very well, that if we take to the streets for this, our government will do exactly the same thing the apartheid government did. They will shoot us, they will beat us and they will jail us.

This country is the “perfect” family who sweeps abuse under the rug.

With that said, justice must be served.

And yes, the systemic power I’m talking about is white power enacted by Black faces.
