MY GAMBLING EXPERIENCE- AIRFORCE BASE IKEJA ADVENTURE

This thread was inspired by the things I have seen in the past four weeks whenever I pass through a game house or whenever I move into a particular game house which is managed by someone who I grew up with in the same area.

I go to there just to charge my phone when there is power outage at home. I was sure of getting power supply at the place as it seems they don't go out of customers till very late in the night. Aside my observations in the game house, a scene I witnessed on Monday at a block

block in Airforce base Ikeja where I went to take a student of mine in a private class reminded me of an awful path I once treaded.
The scene involved two brothers of same mother playing card with another boy while a fourth guy was their onile (moderator & keeper of gamble fee).
They were betting against themselves & the registration amount was #50 (it's small but it will graduate with time). Betting, gambling or gaming can be very interesting as you will meet new people, catch fun, have lot of experiences but yet very much a DISASTER in it's apt whole

On a fateful afternoon under the scorching sun, my 'friends' and I went to Airforce Base Ikeja. We had no other mission going there other than to play games. On this particular day, we didn't set out to go play random PS1 and/or PS2 games.

Rather, we had our minds fixed on having a PS2 game duel between a member of my group and any person willing to battle him. That member of my group would go by the name Mr A as he wasn't consulted for approval. Like a team with purpose we set out on our 'footwagen' and ensured we
didn't forget our 'leggediz-benz' at home.
For those who are familiar with playing games, when guys set out like that, we are all out to accomplish the task of emerging 'KONAMI'. Like a well drilled borehole just like @GenAbdulsalam does with his drilling expertise, there was
enough water that can last the whole team even during the period of drought or in an arid land like @SegunOkunade07 or @AdeniyiKayode_ will say. On getting to one of the game centres in mammy market at @NigAirForce base Ikeja, our minds were well-dressed for the showdown and our
faces shining like individuals using @muniratyahaya beauty products. You would later understand that water in the context above is only figurative.
The stage was kick-started with us playing 'lotto' on PS1 which is also called 'Konami' in some other areas in Lagos.
After like 10rounds, we stopped and resumed for what we came for. The shop owner fondly called 'onile' has helped us to get one of leading game players in the shop. The guy did a thorough job of research of the kind of game player we needed that I somehow feel he is kind of
related to @AlausaIssaSanni who research skills are top-notch. The game player came around and he wasn't looking like he could match my friend at all. I had strong belief in Mr A ability that we started the the clash with 'two-two hundred' like we fondly say.
