Anyone up to chat about how autistic burnout can functionally set you back a few years?

Because I've been reflecting on this lately. I'm post burnout but still redeveloping.
There was legit a point in my life where I could live alone. And that's what I did for several years & in different locations.

Now, not so much. Tbh, I'm unsure if that could ever be an option again.
I might be hated for saying this, but..it feels very infantilizing..?

But that also might be me still unpacking ableist things.

Like how @ekverstania argued, what is "adulting?" Being an adult has differing meanings for everyone, but also most of it is just an idea.
