im also seeing a lot of big NONBLACK ac accounts getting tons of engagement with their threads and tweets on the situations ongoing in cities around the country stop that. this is not a time for you to use your visibility and privilege to gain clout and traction off our issues

many many threads and update tweet made by non-black ac accounts on my timeline have 150+ likes and rts. take a second to think about how much engagement that takes away from an actual black person saying the same thing.

yall need to learn your place. being an ally is great—until you are forcefully stealing space from the very people you claim to be fighting for. theres a time and place for everything and everyone; this is not yours.
