Make no mistake. If this pandemic has been (mis)managed by any other government, PTI politicians would have been calling for heads to roll just as loudly.
If there had been a deadly plane crash, or a series of fatal railway accidents 3 years ago, @ImranKhanPTI would have been on TV demanding ministers resign.

And he would have been right.
The (microscopic) silver lining is that there is a small number of PTI supporters who are holding the government's feet to the fire. But that's not enough.
As a citizen, and as someone who voted for a platform of change, what I expect from @PTIofficial and @ImranKhanPTI is:

1) the aviation minister must resign, and an independent investigation be ordered into the running of the CAA. Preferably with some international experts
2) while I really admire @ShkhRasheed at a personal level, the safety record of railways has been unacceptable since he took over. A change is needed. He has to go.
3) There has to be some kind of reckoning for how the pandemic has been managed, particularly the level of mixed messages and the utter lack of control over the easing of lock down. @Asad_Umar needs to step up and sort this mess.
4A) The attorney general has to file a petition in the Supreme Court and request the Chief Justice to take back his order opening everything. And message on media has to be clear that CJP is responsible for all deaths that happen due to his order.
4B) The lockdown needs to return. Yesterday. And be actually enforced for a change. Markets have to be shut, same for offices and industries, except for a very select few. Call in Army or Rangers of you need to, but do it.
5) The mixed messages re lockdown HAVE TO STOP. I'm looking at you, @ImranIsmailPTI - herd immunity didn't work in Sweden, delayed and ineffective lockdown didn't work in UK, US or Brazil. Our healthcare system is in much worse state than OECD countries.
6) Security needs to be immediately beefed up at all hospitals to protect front line workers.
7) Stop paying private hospitals for keeping COVID patients. It's making unscrupulous hospitals mark patients as positive when they aren't, and further fuelling conspiracy theories.
8) All Inter city travel needs to be closed. Trains and airplanes. We are already too late but at least message will go out that we're very much still in trouble as a nation.
9) Field hospitals need to be built to accommodate patients who don't have hospital beds any more. This should have been done during our half hearted lockdown, and heads must roll for not doing it.
Need to ramp up testing, to 2-3 times current levels.
10) The ventilator sharing / splitting jugaad someone came up with (I'm Lahore I think) has to be rolled out to all hospitals after testing. Testing should already have been done and if it hasn't, the bureaucrats responsible need to be fired.
11) Issues with CAA, Railways, healthcare, all are really within the ambit of the government's much vaunted civil service reforms. We need clear timelines and deliverables for those.
