In times like this, leaders of the US need to realise that having global and corporate power does not excuse the unbelievable backward society that comes as a consequence. Unprecedented levels of racism, sexism, homo/bi/trans/all LGBT+ phobia, etc. is NOT to be tolerated anymore
Freedom of speech needs to be properly defined with appropriate boundaries, media (including social media) need to fact-check information shared (ESPECIALLY information from people with a influential platform), gun rights need validated restrictions based on piles of evidence
Basic social services are a RIGHT not a business potential or an employee benefit, employees deserve a GUARANTEED high wage (i.e. not based on tipping), TAXES ARE NOT AN OPTION FOR THE TOP 1%, CLIMATE. CHANGE. IS. REAL.
So much more too (don’t get me started on the college system), love the American friends I have made around the world and in their country, especially my Twitter friends, and it upsets me how much you all have to deal with on a constant basis for no justified reasoning
PLEASE STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND WHAT YOU DESERVE!! The whole world is watching with a small glimpse of hope for you for the first time in years, if not decades

(Probably good to mention I’m not saying the rest of the Western world are perfect by any means lol there is quite a bit to unpack for other countries too)
