FORGOT ANOTHER IMPORTANT FACT RELATED TO THE ASPEC THING! the allo- prefix is also appropriated from the autistic community (ie allistic); this one feels like more of a stretch, but I’d love to see less of the term “allosexuality” in the coming years ;;

okay one final thing—I am autistic, I had seen autism sources use “aspec,” but I now understand that the term was not nearly as widely used as I thought! consider this reply my official revocation of that talking point. to my aro/ace lgbt friends, I hope you have a great pride
