Basically a no WOS au where yjh, hsy, and kdj r all dating and living together in a comfortable, cozy apartment. hsy is the breadwinner, yjh is the housewife, and kdj is their dog— i mean errand boy (who gets spoiled by both)
hsy - a very successful author
kdj - still works for a gaming company, and also hsy’s unofficial editor

hsy and kdj met first in college where they were in the same class and was paired up for a project. kdj is a fan of webnovels and his fav is hsy’s novel but he didnt know she was the author when they first met. At first he was quiet and reserved but she noticed he was reading her
Work and asked him if he likes webnovels and thats when he got excited and starts talking to her abt it, and shows of wos (so i guess in a way, wos does exist LMAO) which is hsy’s first novel (and it also tanked) and hsy is like eh why would you like that one? The author’s later
novels are better. But then kdj prob starts going into a speech about how wos means a lot of him and its a crucial foundation that launched tls123’s success and hsy is amused bc no one ever really talks abt wos (and if they did, it wasnt nice LOL). So they started hanging out
more outside of class and got closer which was when she revealed that she’s tls123. And dokja was surprised but teased her like wow, i expected to be more starstruck but i guess it makes sense for tls123 to be a snarky gremlin (gets smacked by her). But eventually
They started getting closer and starts dating. After college they moved in together. hsy became a full time author, and is super well known for her success and dokja joins a gaming company which was where he meets yjh
yjh is kr’s top pro-gamer and his team is sponsored by dokja’s company, so dokja has ran into him when helping out w pr, and had to conduct interviews. At first they didnt get along bc yjh is so thorny which pissed dokja off and hsy has to hear all about it at home
But the more yjh and kdj bickers, the closer they get and yjh likes how kdj comes off as meek, but is quite smart when it comes to strategizing and is straightforward around him (no ass kissing, which annoys yjh). kdj realizes that yjh mainly just has a rbf and is tired of
always being in the spotlight, but he’s actually really sweet and caring (gap moe? Wow). In which they get closer and kdj talks about him A LOT to hsy and at some point hsy is like sounds like you have a crush on the guy and kdj is just akfnkndknskf IM DATING YOU
but hsy is like u kno im totally okay if u wanna have an open relationship, i dont mind. And at first kdj is weirded out and he asks if she wants an open relationship but she just shrugs it off like, its not like i really meet ppl thru my job, and im satisfied w only you rn
kdj felt a little guilty but like the idea stuck to him. but even if hsy is ok w an open relationship, he doesnt know if yjh is okay w that? And he sorta just blurts out that he’s dating someone already when yjh suddenly confessed to him one day and yjh is like... oh
But then kdj tries to explain that he also likes yjh, but it might be weird bc not everyone is okay w polyamory and open relationships, but yjh surprises him by saying he doesnt mind trying it. Like yjh also finds it strange but he really likes dokja so they give it a chance.
yjh and kdj has super good chemistry when dating and kdj wants introduce hsy and yjh to each other (he talks about them a lot to the other) bc theyre both important to him. yjh and hsy both get curious e/o and agrees to a dinner date at hsy&kdj’s apartment.
And like... it does not go well bc yjh and hsy intially did not get along. Yjh’s aloofness pisses hsy off bc he comes off as passive agressive and hsy’s domineering personality pisses yjh off bc he hates being told what to do. And dokja is just between them sweating
But since they met each other, they end up meeting more when yjh swings by their place (either to hang with kdj or to pick him up for dates) and for the sake of kdj’s happiness, they sorta just tolerate each other at first. But then yjh drops by one day as a surprise
and hsy is like oh dokja is out with their other friends and yjh is like oh i guess i’ll go and hsy hesitates for a bit before inviting him in, in case he wants to wait for kdj to come home. Like she doesnt get along w him but she cares abt kdj and thinks its sweet yjh stopped by
Yjh sticks around and asks hsy why she isnt with them bc it sounds like theyre her friend group too and she explains that shes writing a new novel and wanted some time to think about it and shes stuck. So then yjh tries to make an effort to befriend her too bc if shes trying for
Dokja’s sake then he can try too. So he offers to help her with her ideas, and she’s pleasantly surprised at how insightful and interesting his ideas are.

So then they start clicking and conversation flows and they start bonding over stuff like good writing vs bad writing, stories they like and dont like, and then shit talking dokja (but in a loving way).
“His self esteem is so shit, and he has no self value, but he’s dating someone as smart as me and someone as hot as you, so he should give himself more credit.”
“... thanks, I guess.”
“... thanks, I guess.”
By the time kdj comes back, the other two are comfortably chatting away on the couch, critiquing some movie that’s on tv and kdj is like oh you two are not at each other’s throat. That’s refreshing. And they’re both like yeah we bonded over your lack of braincells
And from then on, yjh stops by more frequently and even if kdj isnt home, he sticks around and hangs out with hsy, or sometimes all three of them hang out with each other. Then yjh brings up the whole open relationship thing and was like you know i thought it was weird when
dokja first told me abt it, but its not bad. Like how he didnt really like the idea of sharing kdj w someone at first but he really likes kdj and he gave it a shot not really thinking it would work out, but it did. And hsy is like yeah, i didnt want to tie kdj down to only one
Relationship so i thought an open relationship would help him test the waters out, but he ended up really liking you. And yjh is like mm yeah, i can see why kdj is dating you. And theres like this silence and kdj is just like umm... do you two... also like each other?
they’re both quiet at first and the answer is p obvious and kdj is just grinning like wow my 2 favorite people also like e/o. Why dont we just close up this triangle and have it be the three of us and they’re both like huh? Are you okay with that? And hes just why wouldnt i be?
And omg this thread is getting so long BUT so they all started dating as a polyamous trio. Eventually hsy and kdj convinced yjh to move in with them, but the current apt is too small esp when yjh needs space to set up his gaming station too so they looked for a place together
So then they’re now living blissfully as a domestic trio where hsy and kdj steals yjh’s clothes, hsy and yjh eats kdj’s tomatoes for him, and kdj and yjh are hsy’s inspiration for her new novel, which is a rewrite of wos, now popularly known as ssss regressor
