If you have the money, then invest in a VPN whenever you're on your social media accounts. I don't wanna promote companies but I heard the good ones are nordvpn and strongvpn. Just look for the cheapest ones. It will mask your IP address to wherever you want.

If however, you don't, use a TOR browser. It's free, and you can protect yourself, albeit minimal since VPNs are still the best way to do this. However TOR is pretty ugly and slow, I suggest you use Brave browser, it uses TOR boilerplate and functions the same--

Another thing, delete all your personal information on your socials, like addresses, full names, etc. I heard they could also access your emails, so be careful where you put those out. If it's not necessary, ditch them. I don't have FB anymore because these are mandatory--

but if yall aint got no other options, try to minimalize what you put there.

Another thing are selfies. I know all these art vs artist memes are going around and its good fun, but during these trying times i suggest to avoid it completely as it may be a way to profile you.

Do not connect your LinkedIn account to your socials (at least for now). Linked in is a professional website where all your personal info is collected and displayed. If an employer asks for it, just give them the link directly. Not through your socials.

Lastly, be vigilant, be careful, but above all things, be angry. Voice out. If we don't, they'll keep playing us like puppets. Oppression only exists when nobody comes to oppose them. Stay mad hoes. #JunkTerrorBill

Oh right another thing, for additional security on your emails, turn on your 2-step verification if you're using gmail.
