Watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame tonight and holy crap Frollo is WAY worse than I remember. HE FULL ON ASSAULTED ESMERALDA IN THE CHURCH

Watching this was a mistake. I'm a mess now. There's too much injustice in the real world to be watching injustices in Disney movies

It's super not fun to watch Disney movies as an adult. I could have gone my whole life without realizing that Frollo hated Esmeralda so much because he was attracted to her. Talk about misogyny

Imagine being so threatened by what you don't understand that you verbally abuse A CHILD to the point that he relies on his gargoyle friends to sing him a song about why he's not a monster and that he's worthy of love. Frollo is THE WORST
