First of all, the cop who murdered George Floyd and those who stood by and let it happen are inhumane pieces of trash. They must be punished for their crimes accordingly.

But, was the racism really involved like the media and everybody rioting is speculating?

The short answer is, might or might not be.

As of now, there’s no evidence that racism caused the death. The possibility of racism being involved is same as the possibility of unprofessionalism, inhumanity or disrespect towards a human’s life irrespective of the color.

Also, there’s a report which finds that the Cop who’s main culprit and George Floyd knew each other as they worked at a place together. (Link in reply)
So the possibility of a personal feud leading to such cruel act cannot be ignored.

But whatever was the case, they all are evident of one thing; that those cops are cold blooded murderers and/or facilitators of it.

You may say that I’m perhaps denying existence of racism or police brutality?
The answer is, No, I’m not.

Yes, there exits racism in general and in police like any other institution where there are racist people, but that doesn’t mean the whole community is racist.

Yes, there exists inhumane elements in police but that doesn’t mean that the whole community is brutal or inhumane.

Especially because, whenever any such incident happens, the whole community disowns and condemns any such bad element.
You might say, hey, they don’t condemn the incident “every” time. Well yes, you’re right, not every time because not every incident that is speculated...

as police brutality or racism in media & protested over, actually involves racism or police brutality. Countless times, there has been outrage in media & protest over the initial news of an incident but later when body-cam or other evidence showed up, there came complete silence.

How many times the cops went into the life threatening situations to save the people, not caring what color or religion they belonged to, because they’re out there to protect the people not take lives unjustly as a few bad ones do?
Let me say, it happens every day.

Everyday the cops protect and serve the people including the black Americans. If all cops are racists why would they put their lives at risk for those people or even care to serve and protect those people?
Let me just post a few examples to give you an idea

In short, you cannot stereotype the whole community based on the actions of a few bad elements.
Calling all police officers racist is same as calling all immigrants criminals because a few of them committed some crime...

OR calling all Muslims terrorists because a few of them went the wrong way.
It is just outright stupid.

And now to the people who want the police abolished.

Who would have done that if there was not the police? Some super hero(s)?
