please understand that using the term “black on black crime” has been used for years, specifically after a black person has been shot by police as a way to dismiss and counter the protest of black lives matter. the reason that i am bringing this us is because someone i know–

unfortunately used the saying earlier today and the situation has rubbed my wrong since them. here are some screenshots to better understand and explain why using this term while talking about the black lives matter movement is wrong

i am not the kind of person to expose someone so i’d much rather take the time to educate others based on their actions. the term is dismissive during this time.

please educate yourselves before you speak and understand how dismissive and ignorant you can sound even if it is not your intentions. because this is simply not it, and it will never be okay to say something like this during a time like this.
