(2/n) The setup kit was supposed to arrive today. They messed up the shipping label. I spent two hours driving to a UPS center.
(3/n) I open the box to find three cables and zero modems. I call @att to get a replacement.
(4/n) I verbally abuse the non-functional automated system for a while before lying to choose a path that will lead to a human instead of an infinite loop of frustration.
(5/n) Eventually I get transferred to the device support department.
(6/n) I was told that my old modem would work for now, and they& #39;d ship me one next week.
(7/n) I drive to my new apartment, and the old modem doesn& #39;t work. I call AT&T support to ask if I can pick one up.
(8/n) I& #39;m told that I have to first cancel my delivery before I can get in-store pickup, but I have to call a different number.
(9/n) I call the number and wait for 20 minutes. They gave me the wrong department. The rep from AT&T TV was nice though.
(10/n) I& #39;ve been waiting for another 20 minutes. Long enough to write this thread.
