Had we learned the lessons of history—the lessons of what Karl Rove’s cohorts did to steal the election from Siegelman and to ensure he never ran again—we might not be in the terrible position we now find ourselves. 2/
People need to watch it to prepare for the election in November. Trump has summoned Rove to “help” him, as he did before the 2016 election, which Ds conceded w/o a fight. We need to understand what we are up against. It so much worse than most people realize. 3/

Naive claims by Democrats that the GOP supposedly can’t hack or steal a vote by mail election is part of what suggests to me that Democrats have no idea what they are up against. A sudden shift to VBM may disrupt the GOP’s strategy, but VBM is counted on hackable scanners. 4/
No matter what system is used, we must demand a manual recount if we lose & ensure the chain of custody is secure. We cannot assume our candidates will do this. They almost never have before. 5/
