We need to continue to address the anti-blackness that exists within our own communities, challenging racism on an intra-personal level. Myths like the Model Minority create a culture in which proximity to whiteness is desired, ultimately perpetuating white violence.
White People: Your silence is violence. It’s not enough to be “not racist,” but rather actively anti-racist: understand the systems you occupy and benefit from. Hold your Karens accountable.
