The linchpin of the oncoming disaster is that the police, as a body and a union, will never, ever admit they were in the wrong. They will never confess they need to clean out their ranks. They will drive us into civil war and request military involvement before admitting failure.

There are no circumstances where the police union spokespeople or the rank and file will say that they are the problem and they have to clean house. Nothing will ever prompt that public reconciliation from the blue side. It will never happen.

Also, and I shouldn't need to mention this, we live in a country where, in some states, high-capacity semi-automatic rifles in military calibers can be purchased cash-and-carry. They are easily available and not that expensive.

What I am saying is that if the community decides to retaliate in ways more definitive than property damage, the means are readily at hand. The pundit class and policymakers need to realize that burning precint buildings is the GENTLE option for a community with grievances.

We have to walk back from this cliff. The citizens of this republic will not tolerate police murdering their family and friends. They cannot be expected to. They have shown incredible forbearance in not taking up arms ALREADY.

The police will never correct themselves! Our leaders must take harsh and immediate steps to bring them to heel. Many sensible policy proposals have been made to effectuate this task. Greater brains than mine have a wealth of options to choose from.

The only question is whether they will pay the political cost of angering the police unions NOW, or wait until we have a few massacres first.

Again, I cannot stress this enough, the police are the aggressors. They are the problem. Every time they brazenly brutalize or murder some innocent black person on camera, they pull another block out of the Jenga tower. And friends, that tower is going to fall some day.

Like other revolutions, it will happen faster than you think. They have a way of sneaking up on you. If our leadership had any sense, they wouldn't try and wait.
