Some people think white privilege doesn’t exist and some people think it does. I used to think it didn’t but have learned more about it’s definition and recognize my privilege as a white person.

Looking at history and the present, white people haven’t been discriminated because of their race. That puts us “ahead” of other races in a way.

What I don’t understand is how complaining about white privilege solves anything. We have zero control of the past and the fact that we are privileged now.

It also doesn’t mean that we are racist. All we can control is what we are doing in the present. We can choose to love everyone equally and support equality.
