My daughter works for a large multinational firm. She forwarded me the email the CEO sent to their employees. I will attempt to paraphrase.

First paragraph, he acknowledged that as a non-Black person, he has already had to give his Black (adopted) son "the talk". Boom.
Next, he gave a summary of the recent racist incidents of the past few weeks, naming names and citing locations, for clarity. He stated that these incidents had an adverse affect on employees, especially the Black ones.
Stated company values compelled him to speak out. Company leaders were called upon to support Black employees who may be experiencing trauma. Courageous Conversation virtual meetings will be held next week.
This is leadership. School leaders, please step up in similar ways. Your Black employees are hurting.
