Things are getting heated here. Cops stand in front of CNN after a glass pane is shattered.

People chant “no justice, no peace” as an APD vehicle burns in front of CNN center in ATL.

Police continue deploying gas and pushing protesters with batons. This is the moment I was pushed & fell into a stairwell. I had ID’d as press twice. I was helped up by protestors who also gave me a water bottle.

The Atlanta fire department has put out the fire on the police vehicle and protesters have been pushed away from the front of the CNN building to an intersection. Protestors tell black police officers “you’re on the wrong side” others chant “hands up, don’t shoot.”
