Unlike with the 'stay at home' protests, where journalists gave us up to the minute reports on how protesters were not social distancing and not wearing masks and clustering, the same observations will not be made about those marching in Minneapolis and elsewhere this week.

I'm seeing bullhorns being passed around at these protests after being used by people who pulled their masks down to yell at the crowd. We need our mask monitors to weigh in here on how dangerous that is. @brianstelter @oliverdarcy @kaitlancollins @weijia

We need coronavirus case updates in protest cities from journalist mask monitors in two weeks to find out if maskless protesters who aren't social distancing, some of who are sharing a bullhorn, caused case numbers to rise. #consistency

I am 100% serious about this. Every week there was a Reopen protest here in NC, journalists would rush to write about those who didn't wear masks and who didn't social distance. I'm waiting for those same journalists to weigh in tonight with the same lectures. #ncpol
