I don& #39;t think this person is present on twitter, so I& #39;m going to rant:

I get so few commissions, I end up lowering my prices to get a bite whenever someone DMs me on tumblr, and then they end up having some really weird "interests" I should have charged more for to begin with.

I& #39;m putting my foot down on the NSFW upcharge, but I& #39;m still making $5 less than I should, and people generally don& #39;t tip.

I& #39;m just at a loss for what to do; I increased my prices specifically to avoid these kind of people, and then they show up and I get suckered back in.

And this is all considering they end up commissioning me anyways, after all this bargaining and planning.

I will delete this thread come the evening, so don& #39;t respond to this if possible; just consider it. This isn& #39;t a problem just for me. Authors everywhere put up with this.
