White people and white-passing people:
Two things that can be done immediately (and continuously):
1.) Giving money
2.) Talking to each other about how white-supremacy operates in ourselves / communities & how that might affect how we are behaving right now.
Some questions that have been helpful in conversation with white & white passing people in my life right now:

1.) Am I coming online at this time to learn, listen, or take direct action? If not, what I am doing here?
2.)If there are things I feel like I don’t know how to say or do right now, does that come from a real lack of knowledge/understanding, or more out of fear/discomfort?

3.) If I lack knowledge, am I putting consistent energy into bridging those gaps in my understanding?
4.) If I am gathering and sharing information and anti-racist resources for learning, how will I actually internalize and use it?

5.)How is my presence in my online & physical communities affecting Black people I share that space with? Where do I actually need to step back?
If you’re also white, white-passing / benefiting from white supremacy and we’ve had some previous interaction, please reach out if you have questions. Learning to shoulder the weight of each other’s education is critical now and moving forward.
