It’s devastating, and it can happen to anyone. It happens every day. People go out in the morning and their family members can’t find them for weeks. Some officers even set people up by keeping drugs or bullets in their laptop bags, handbags or cars during their search.
There are also people who were picked up many years ago during Saturday morning sanitation or Abiola riot or some sort of conflict that are still in prison. Also minor cases that require 6 months in prison, they spend 4 years in prison before trial.
Many people without sentence are slaughtered because of congested prison. The environment of the prison is another story. However, money is delivered for such purpose, but corruption will always prevail.
They do this also. They will receive bribe from criminals and try to use innocent citizens to do replacement.
Also, when they can’t find a criminal, they arrest random people to deceive their Oga at the top.
