I hope some official comes out & explains this report w/ more context before it's too late. Whether he asphyxiated w/ the knee on his neck is not the issue. There's a basic causality here: Had the cop not acted w/ intentional disregard for life, George would still be breathing https://twitter.com/MatthewACherry/status/1266469379757109248
Everyone over the age of 45 has some underlying health condition. Cops can't run around triggering heart attacks with stun guns and choke holds left and right and then argue they couldn't possibly know because they aren't doctors. That's just blanket immunity from murder.
Carotid artery? Never heard of it! Listen pal, I'm just a cop.
As others have mentioned, there’s a highly contagious virus going around attacking people’s respiratory systems and we have video of cops just spraying the shit out of people with gas agents at random. People just standing on sidewalks doing NOTHING https://twitter.com/stribrooks/status/1266186985041022976
None of the weapons carried by cops are “non-lethal.” They can kill people with tear gas, rubber bullets, batons, bean bag guns, flash grenades, and pepper spray. It’s all happened before. When they use those tools negligently, they need to be fired & charged.
The cop who pumped the gas on his SUV around those pedestrians and started randomly dousing them with chemicals should be in a jail cell right now
Deleted this b/c I don't want people to think I was talking about George. I was reaching for the most extreme hypothetical because even in that circumstance, that cop would have had a responsibility to render aid. Health conditions, "potential intoxicants" don't change that.
Btw, when you're being murdered, every health condition is a previous health condition.
