Today, President @realDonaldTrump announced significant actions to hold China accountable & protect American security & prosperity.

President @realDonaldTrump made clear:

“China's cover-up of the Wuhan virus allowed the disease to spread all over the world.”

The U.S. will terminate our relationship with the WHO, which China has total control over, & redirect our funds to more deserving global health needs.

President @realDonaldTrump also announced a proclamation to better secure our research universities by suspending the entry of certain foreign nationals from China who have been identified as potential security risks.

This action will protect U.S. technology, IP, & information.

Additionally, the practices of Chinese companies listed on the U.S. financial market will be studied by the Presidential Working Group on Financial Markets.

This action will protect American investors.

China has effectively replaced “one country, two systems” with “one country, one system,” & therefore Hong Kong no longer warrants special treatment.

In response, President @realDonaldTrump’s Administration will begin the process of eliminating policy exemptions for Hong Kong.
