Time-Travel Info Thread!
Do you have questions about time travel? I have answers! Here's a few tips:

1) there are no consequences for time travelling forward, or backward. The only "consequences" are a mess of flowers and weeds to sort through. Unlike in previous games, your villagers DO NOT move out unless they talk to you first.

2) Speaking of villagers moving out- be careful of the house glitch! If a villager asks to move out or is pushed out by an amiibo, you MUST TT forward to see the empty/sold plot. If you go backwards, your villager will have the incorrect exterior. After they move in, you're free!

3) The able shop and your special catalogue items reset when you TT backwards and forwards. However, if you TT backwards and had ordered catalogue items, they will not be delivered until the "next" day. Going backwards is treated as the same day.

Redd however, will send your item regardless of travel backwards of forwards. The Nook shop does not reset if you go backwards. If you buy something on the fifth, and go the fourth, and back to the fifth- their inventory will be the same.

4) A villager will likely ask to move out every six days or so, and never on a Saturday (for some reason?). Keep playing with it until you've successfully booted the villager you wanted.

6) Turnips! Your turnips will rot if you go backwards - AT ALL - OR if you travel past the Saturday of that week. They will not rot if you travel forward within that week. Also, prices will change when you go back and forwards. Always.

7) If Redd is on your island, that means he's forever on your island on that date. You can always come back to it (His inventory changes though!). Same with Celeste, Leif, Kicks, and meteor showers!

8)Back to your catalogue: if you order five items on the fifth and travel back to the fourth, there will be new items in your catalogue but it will act as if your five orders have been placed for the day. Catalogue orders are only mailed or reset by traveling forward.

9) There will always be a new DIY bottle and new villager crafting regardless of backward or forward travel. Additionally, your money tree spot, rocks, furniture trees- all reset regardless of backward or forward travel.
