#faciliators, what do you think we can learn from the common facilitation experience of “losing control of the room”, which could inform what we do as we lose control of the lockdown?

From being out in public recently, it feels like things are fraying quite significantly. People aren’t following the rules with anything like the diligence they were, even compared to recently as last week.
It reminds me of facilitating large workshops, where you give the group an instruction and expect them to get on with it; but they just don’t get settled. You can just read the room and see that everyone is confused/ doing their own thing / disengaged.
Is there anything we can being to this public health challenge, I wonder, with a facilitator hat on?
