why shakira stans are pressed by JLo?

after Gloria Estefan, it was Jennifer Lopez to become the most famous and popular female latin artist in both U.S. & the world. J-Lo's fame & success with her debut album in 1999 was something bigger than a latin artist.

Though, there was another latin girl named Shakira working for 9 years but reaching NOTHING in the U.S.

so JLo paved the way for the new latin girls to show themselfs in America. the fact is JLo was there before Shakira and she still will be there after her.

in 2001 Shakira made her first successful era in U.S. but even couldn't top JLo's era in that year & JLo won it. JLo made 4 number #1 singles & 2 number #1 albums during 4 years, which no latin artist had ever done before! she became the most succussful female artist of the year.

It was like a kind of an obsession for Shakira for not being on the top. but fortunatlly for Shakira, JLo disappeared slowly on the charts for many mistakes that she and her team did back then. (i'll make a thread of their mistakes later)

In 2005-6-7 Shakira could finally make some huge hits and somehow ppl know her as another latin girl doing good in U.S. after JLo. and ppl started comparing them.

in 2010 Shakira could make another hit with a worldcup song. and people started calling her thd queen of worldcup.

but in 2011, JLo cameback with her most successful single 'On The Floor' and she got back her crown. the song became the most successful solo song by a female latin artist of all time. till then there was nothing between fans and we actually loved them both.

in 2014, Pitbull's song 'We Are One' feat. JLo was picked as the official worldcup song. and guess what? shakira and her fans were obsessed again. JLo was just a featured artist on the song but Shak's toxic fans were dragging her for no reason! like wtf man¿

so after that, JLo and Pitbull did the opening ceremony and Shakira did the closing. (In 2012 JLo and Shakira were performing for the women's fifa worldcup too but no one was dragged or compared )

Okay, let me be honest; Both JLo and Shakira were doing good in music. Shakira is talented and she's a defenition of Latin music in the world but JLo ain't just a singer, she acts, dances, stars in tv shows and more... People know her and respect her as a powerful latino woman.

JLo (an actress) has sold over 120m albums & singles ww. +3.5b box office for her movies plus 2× golden globes nominees, sag & cc nominee & more.

she's tge only latin act to being honored by bbmas, mtv vmas, wma, honoriee awards for music, movies, fashion AND more.

shakira is an international artist, creative in music, talented & a true musician. but she really can't touch JLo's fame, power, succuss & respect and being known as a huge latino act in the world. thats the only fact.
