if you’re under 18, it is very easy to feel powerless and like you don’t have a voice in the election, but there are actions you can take!! here is a list:
we don’t know exactly what election day will look like with the pandemic going on, but in some states, if you’re 16-17, you can register to be a poll worker: https://www.eac.gov/voters/become-poll-worker
work with a local organization that is registering people to vote
use your creative skills to design posters and make art that include key information about your candidate, and put them up and publish them online
remind your friends and family to register to vote and to vote and make sure they are educated on the candidates!!
contact your local media outlets about issues you care about and offer to share opinions and insights
donate to and raise money for your candidate of choice
organize & support conversations at your school about the election and voting
look into volunteering opportunities for youth under 18 on your candidates website - volunteering for state or city candidates is also great!!
if you have more ideas, please feel free to leave them below!
