...reliant on gate receipts. Football grounds are almost definitely going to be the last to re-open. So if these clubs are now having to foot the cost of their players, how are they going to fund their players? What about when action restarts? Surely now other income streams...
...such as sponsors and hospitality, are now also going to filter away. How can sponsors justify backing clubs in steps one to four/five right now? While I know this isn’t entirely the government’s problem, we’re surely going to see tons of clubs simply unable to operate anymore
