I moved to Ireland as a 6 year old girl and I can hand on heart say I’ve experienced horrible racism in this country. I consider it my home but others don’t think like because of the colour of my skin & I’m sure many other black men and women can say the same

I’ve been called everything from a nigger by grown men. Been told I’m pretty for a “black” girl, told to go back to my country at INTERNATIONAL night in UL, been told I don’t belong hair, called a dirty black cunt. Those experiences broke me at times

So no, anyone that thinks Ireland isn’t that bad when it comes to racism please kindly unfollow me. How dare you use your experience to quantify the experiences of others and come to such a resounding conclusion.
