I know @OKBJGM @LizAlps @JeffLieber are still young, vibrant, & will have long careers, but one day they’re gonna pass the torch & all their writing advice to you. If you take it, take with you also their torch to champion a better industry. Equal Pay, diversity, care for people.

Each above have given countless, and I mean *countless* hours to help writers/assts, advice them, be transparent, & stake their careers to make the path forward better for you. The torch handed you bares weight, but its worth carrying, because when you see a cause, or want to -

- continue one of theirs, you’ll see the value, and trust the worth. The generation of writers/directors/crew that’s coming up are practicing a level of selflessness and lifting one another I’ve never seen. This is because Javi, Liz, Jeff, and many many others lead by example.

And not to have a third act obvious twist, but one day your career will be storied, and you’ll be ready to pass the torch. Who do you want to carry on the work of equal pay/equality/various voices represented? As you consider those folk, reach out to them, invest in them, be-

- patient with them. They’re recording everything. They’ll remember, and be prepped, and one day pass their torch.
